“I’m out here [in Utah] mainly to endorse and campaign for my friend Mike Lee. When people ask me who am I closest to ideologically in the Senate without question, it’s Mike Lee,” said Paul.
“Obviously, we’re keeping a close eye on everything happening in Ukraine. . . . You’ve often talked about the fact that the debt and the deficit spending we continue to have is also a form of national security that we’ve been ignoring for too long,” Boyd said.
“Yeah, I think — without question — our debt is probably the greatest threat to our national security,” Paul said. “People ask me, ‘Whose fault is it? Republicans or Democrats?’ And my answer is, yes.”
Paul said he believes the federal budget should be treated the same way as the family budget.
“If you don’t have money for your family, and you spend it unwisely, that’s just not good for your family,” he said.
Paul said he foresees a protracted war or insurgency in Ukraine. With the daily killing of Russian soldiers, Putin will come to know the war he started was a mistake, he said, adding it’s not the responsibility of American taxpayers to finance Ukraine’s protection against Russian forces.
“I’ve been open to selling arms to the Ukrainian resistance, but I’m not a big fan of just giving away things that we don’t have the money for,” Paul said.

Probably...
I disagree with Paul when it comes to sending weapons to Ukraine, but he’s a principled guy who sticks to those principles on different issues, so I respect his position.
Misinformation headline.
Here’s what he said:
“…it’s not the responsibility of American taxpayers to finance Ukraine’s protection against Russian forces.”
You think Paul is a principled guy. Really? Go check out his position on disaster relief for other states and then compare it to his position on disaster relief for Kentucky when his State was hit by tornadoes a while back.
Yes, infuriating and very bad headline. It implies he is “talking up war” and us entering it.
Boy, this war in Ukraine is making a mixmaster of everyone’s positions and ideology.
I’m not for this. Can I get my tax dollars refunded to me?
“Boy, this war in Ukraine is making a mixmaster of everyone’s positions and ideology.”
Maskholes

Same holes
Mike Lee?
Really Rand?

Some people have proven over the years that they will buy any propaganda and cling to it regardless of contrary proofs. They have believed some of it for so long that it seems to have become part of who they are and how they define themselves. A confused but generally honest group.
Another part of this issue though is the plants and trolls. We’ve always had both but at least you had to have a small degree of respect for some of the the old trolls as they openly admitted to what they were. We definitely have another group now. Ive noticed that there are, especially among some of the newer more vocal members, some surreptitious scum misrepresenting themselves as conservative for the purpose of creating division. While its possible that a person may fall for every bit of globalist propaganda, its not likely that the same posters would unfailingly feel the need to bring it here and present it positively while also never missing a chance to undermine long held and sound conservative positions on other threads. if they were actually conservative at all.
That was literally my first thought! Mike Lee? Really?
Lee needs to go!
#NeverTrumper will be a thorn in Trump’s side. Lee was born and raised in Taiwan, yet has real estate projects in China.
