Gruesome photos of dead Russian soldiers are being shared online by Ukrainian officials to combat Kremlin censorship of its deadly invasion — while another video shows weeping Russian fighters admitting to war crimes.

The images are being posted on various Telegram channels run by Ukraine’s interior ministry and Security Service as the violence continues to escalate.

One grim photo shows the mutilated body of a Russian soldier lying in a field with his flesh and organs alongside him.

We can let the Russians post those.

No dummy. Russian soldiers have said their phones were taken by officers before they invaded Ukraine.

“Are we to beleive that ther are no dead Ukrainian soldiers?”

I’m sure there are. What’s odd is that the Russians aren’t publishing any pictures of them. You’d think they be crowing about how many “Nazis” they’re killing.

I have to admit that, at least on one level, I equate the Russian soldiers to American soldiers in Vietnam. They have little say, and their families are heartbroken. I hold their leaders responsible.

Russian soldiers are not allowed to have their cell phones with them.

They were left at their prospective launch points.

This is actually a good idea because with social media so big selfies and comments can give out good Intel.

They need to be ID’d and the info sent to their mamas.

Ukraine is violating rules of the Geneva Convention:
“ Article 13 of the third Geneva convention says PoWs must be humanely treated and “protected, particularly against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity”.

As they have close ups of individual POWs they can be personally ID and therefore are a public curiosity.

Yes I’m sure Russia is violating many clauses as well.

They were using Ukrainian cellphones that were loaned to them to make those calls.

I thought the Ukrainians were finding out what the Russians were up to by posing as Tinder dates...was that just BS?

Sounds about right. The Russian soldiers were practicing in drills near the Ukrainian borders then the order came in. Confiscate all phones. Begin the invasion of Ukraine.

Don’t know what you’re taking about. Most Russian soldiers don’t have their phones. They’ve said on video after being captured that officers took their phones.

That was B.S.

The Russians don’t have access to the internet. They haven’t a clue what the news really is.

No soldiers should be carrying cell phones. That’s a security threat. Anyone can be tracked via their cell phone.

Russian commanders were smart to take their soldiers’ phones.

Of course not. Not sure why you would bother to ask that rhetorical question.

But I can tell you that there are NO dead Ukrainian soldiers on Russia soil.
