You go ahead and start your no fly zone, Z. We’ll catch up with you later.
(I think he needs some violins to go with this. Or maybe more cowbells.)

I’m pretty sure they could do so at the request of that country’s government...

NATO made it very clear that if they put a no fly zone in that is a declaration of war by Nato to Russia.... Stolen said this again today when questioned about it.... That this would drag in the other NATO nations which they are unwilling to risk this war escalates outside Ukraine. It has to be contained in Ukraine.

Unfortunately NATO piling in armament and machinery in droves for the past 8 yrs, and NATO training of their troops and drills, led Ukrainian leadership to falsely believe that “other” nations would come to their defense and that an exception would be made for their membership now because they are fighting a war.

Zelensky’s expectations were way above what could be done to help Ukraine.....bringing in foreign fighters hasn’t helped as now the public is afraid of those who are robbing and stealing.

This isn’t going to be over any time soon. And what’s left NATO nor the EU will want anyway.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has to know full well that he is asking NATO to declare war on Russia. Is Zelensky trying to initiate WWIII?

Perhaps that's what his sugar daddy George Soros wants.

Why would Putin expose Biden’s misdeeds ?? Putin has us right where he and the Chinese want us, hobbled with a leader who is intent on making us a weaker and irrelevant nation.

Whats left NATO and the EU will absolutely want! Ukraine is an oil rich nation brimming with tech talent. Ukraine could solve some problems for NATO and the UN, and lets not forget that so much of Europe was the beneficiary of the Marshall Plan. They absolutely will have to rebuild Ukraine.

Zelensky is one man expressing a consensus opinion in Ukraine, and we are only one week in.

“No one is going to lose on purpose if they can just up the ante.”

Every war game with the USSR and USA since 1950 ended in nuclear conflagration and a dead world.

Neocons are OK with that.

Most respectfully, what you wrote was silly

Here it is:
“Putin cannot allow a democratic neighbor as it would call into question Russia’s non-democratic government.”

How about Finland, on the borders of the Soviet Union and Russia for over 100 years?

What would have avoided this war was accepting Putin’s ultimaturm. he demanded a written guarnatee that Ukraine would never join NATO. President Biden refused his demand and now we have this war.

A delusion.

This is more about NATO than us, and their encroachment upon territory bordering Russia. To me Putin's actions are more defensive than offensive no matter how the media spins it. Putin doesnt have us right where he wants us as nobody knows the outcome yet. Rest assured with our corrupt media, garbage elites, corrupt government, Hollywood cheerleaders, and George Soros rooting for Ukraine, I have no choice but to side with Putin.

Poland should be sold all of the weapons that it could possibly need to fend off an invasion.

Maybe if they were a democracy, not corrupt, and cleaned up their military, they could have been part of NATO.

Any European country that independently decides to pursue NATO membership may do so. But nations that wish to join must meet certain political, economic, and military standards.

Ukraine fails at all. Russia is just using that as an excuse

I saw a meme the other day that truly fit this current situation. It was the scene from animal house where D-Day told Flounder; “You effed up. You trusted us.” D-Day being NATO. Flounder being Ukraine.

That's one of the great movies lines, appropriate to so many situations and especially to this one. But wasn't is Otter who said that to Flounder?
