At 74%, that’s WAY beyond the margin of error. At the very least, even if they tricked up the methodology, it’s a solid, maybe even overwhelming majority.
the really scary part is probably the vast majority of the nitwits who voted yes no-fly zone probably don’t realize who is the principal member, primary military provider and main financier, of NATO and they just figure that NATO involvement just means a bunch of European warplanes flying over Ukraine and surely the USA has no obligations to NATO

It would be a huge escalation. People thinking with their emotions rather than logically. I’m with the Ukrainian People, but I’m not in favor of raising the stakes.
If we have a no-fly zone established over Ukraine, NATO and Russia are gonna start shooting each other’s planes down, then what’s Putin gonna do to retaliate ?
Unfortunately you are right. But the EU was formed with the close support of Clinton and Madeline after the breakup of the USSR to have a second world power to compete with the US. There reasoning was that it was not good for the US to be the only world power. Instead of letting the course of events dictate, Clinton/Albright dictated what was to be.
That may happen someday, but NATO is still our show.

Americans are schizophrenic. Most of us don’t want us to get involved but we’re okay with establishing a no-fly zone.
Basically, as long as we’re not sending home a bunch of body bags, Americans like the approach. So we should be sending hundreds, thousands of lethal drones.
That’s how wars start.
“Oh it’s just a few advisors.” Then some advisors get killed, then you start sending soldiers to protect the advisors, then those soliders get killed, then you start sending more soldiers, and so on, and so on, and next thing you know, 50,000+ Americans are dead.
If you’re sending drones and they ALL get wiped out, how many US soldiers died? None.
Polls should ask different questions.
1. “Do you want to send the people you love the most to fight and die in misery far from home for Ukraine?”
2. “Do you want to pay much more for food and for fuel every single week for years and years and years for Ukraine?”

Putin needs to make a deal and get out.
When people get assets seized, accounts frozen for not being anti-Putin enough I wouldn’t expect an accurate poll even if they understood the implications of a no fly zone. Sadam used to rack up 90% of the vote.
If this is true, it will likely lead to nuclear war.
Ask the question this way: “Do you believe that NATO should institute a no fly zone over Ukraine if, in response, Russia decides to respond with a nuclear attack on Europe and the US?”
