As the COVID-19 pandemic wanes, fewer and fewer people are rolling up their sleeves for vaccines statewide and across the nation.
It’s creating a giant question mark over what to do with the remaining excess vaccine supply.
Two years in the pandemic, demand for the COVID-19 vaccine is plummeting in the United States.
Tracking by the CDC shows the daily count of total doses administered nearing a low not seen since the start of the pandemic.
“I think what essentially happened was that so many people saw omicron in the united states and what that means is the hospitalizations came down not just in places with high vaccinations but in places with high natural immunity. So I think at this point people were like well I don’t need to get vaccinated I’ve already seen omicron,” said Dr. Monica Gandhi who is a UCSF infectious disease doctor.
Gandhi says for those still on the fence about getting the shot.
“Even just one vaccine dose after having natural infection really does extend your immunity make it stronger so I would encourage just one dose for anyone who has had a natural infection,” she said.
And with the extra vaccine stockpile, state health departments are tracking millions of doses going to waste.
The California Department of Public Health says providers are asked to keep doses until they expire before properly disposing of them.
“I think the challenge is doing a better job both messaging the importance of vaccination,” Dr. Michael Wasserman of the California Vaccine Advisory Committee said.
He is still concerned about vulnerable groups and says the remaining vaccine could be put to good use in California and other parts of the country.
“We still have to vaccinate poor communities of color that are not fully vaccinated and that continue to have higher degrees of hospitalizations and deaths from COVID,” Wasserman said.

Please. Please. Roll up your sleeves. Big Pharma needs the money. Politicians have elections to win. I mean, ahem...yours and your family’s health’s depends on getting it.
A “solution” so good it had to be forced upon us. If COVID-19 was as deadly as advertised and the “vaccines” actually worked people would have lined up and paid good money for them. The Biden Regime had to issue mandates because people did not want the clot-shot based on what they saw in reality.
No, some people really wanted it. They even had some cases of people going around and getting vaccinated 15 or 20 times.
I had Covid and was sick a few days. I did take horse paste early on. I know 8 people that either died or seriously ill after taking the vaxx. It is a travesty what governments have done to this world. Giving that poison to kids is really evil. I just remember God keeps track.

Some will say its not fair to blame the deaths that occurred during Biden’s first month in office on his policies. That the daily deaths when he entered office January 20th 2021 were already in the midst of peak. To avoid this criticism, lets skip forward some 6 months into his presidency. By this time Biden’s policies were in full effect and he was “following the science” and “listening to the experts”. Around this time, July 12th 2021 , 50% of Americans were fully vaccinated yet over the next 7 months some 309,000 Americans died of Covid under Biden’s leadership. Compare this 7 month period to Donald Trump’s last 7 months in office. With less than 1 % of Americans vaccinated, and Trump supposedly “not following the science” or promoting masks… the total amount of Americans that died during this time was 278,000.

Biden’s 7 months following 50% becoming fully vaccinated: 309,000 Covid deaths
Those deaths are likely greatly overestimated.

The stats have always been and continue to be utter crap.
So get this one. My employer, a fortune 500 company announced that they will accede to the SCOTUS ruling and not require vaccine or testing of employees.
I just got a registration survey for the national sales meeting in a few months.
Question 1. Are you vaccinated? The only choice is YES. You cannot bypass it. They said vaccination is required to attend and attendance is mandatory.
Before I had seen the survey, I had two colleagues contact me and ask how I would handle it since they are not vaxxed.
I told the first one Don’t ask Don’t tell, but that was before I saw the survey that basically requires you to lie.
I have no idea how to handle this.
The responses I’m considering run the gamut from NO, to “I choose not to share my personal medical decisions with anyone, including you, an administrative assistant.”

Not required for illegal aliens, but after my son who served 4 years in the Marines with an honorable discharge came back from Japan the airline made him get vaxxed.
The damage is done. The fallout will only get worse for the vaxxed.
What if you don’t fill it out?
My friend works at a company (Cough, Salesforce) and in December and early January they were gearing up to force him to get it or leave. In the second half of January they never said they changed that policy, but they never mentioned it again.
This will cut into the 10% for the big guy.
Maybe the demand is low because millions got vaxxed.
