I realize sarcasm when I see it; and I like sarcasm.
However, if you are not being sarcastic, I assume you would be man enough to tell my nephew (US Army, now in Germany) that, to his face; and to his fellow soldiers’ faces. I assume you would be man enough to tell that to my cousin’s nephew, a US Navy SEAL who was KIA (of course, you can’t because he is dead). I assume you would be man enough to tell it to the “kid” whose family lives across the street; only, he is a kid no longer, but a US Marine.
You do realize that we now have embedded political comissars in our forces now, right?
Sure, there are individuals that are still good to go even now, but our military as a whole? Not ready and I’m not sure at all that they would automatically triumph over an equivalent Russian force any more. I’m being told that things are bad and getting worse by friends who are in the military and are getting out instead of re-upping.
