Oh, I see. NOW it’s their choice.
With some exceptions of the elderly, immunocompromised, and our unfortunate public school children, the mask is the left’s modern day swastika; it’s a powerful visual that signals who they think they are. Oh, and they do LOVE “visuals”! I ENCOURAGE their embracing of masks in perpetuity as it gives me a reasonable indication of who the enemy is, when in public.
So now it’s a choice according to Witch WaWenSki?

First, the Governor did tell the kids they could wear the masks if they wanted to.... I strongly suspect that the teachers that led the kids to the location of the presentation demanded they wear them irrespective of the “science”, in hope of provoking a reaction like this from him. Teachers have become the bleeding edge of COVID hysteria in FL. Masks have been rejected by a huge measure by the general public. However, the teachers union(s) continue to demand that anyone associated with any school wear them full time in the halls and classroom. Teacher’s unions, like all public service unions, need to be disbanded. I know it’s too much to hope for, but if he could, I’d like to see the Gov. fire the union members the way Ronald Reagan did the Air Traffic Controllers. Public service unions, in particular those that have such a large influence in the education of children are a menace to the long-term American way of life. I for one no longer have any respect for teachers. They are not “hero’s”.

Eliminating the forced wearing of masks shouldn’t include shaming of those that still want to wear them.
A lot of students are shy, and now they are using masks to isolate themselves, as a type of warm blanket. This harms them and their development. they SHOULD be made to take those damn things off and look people in the eye.
And just like that.....Leftists are for choice again.
Note that DeSantis added, “if you want to wear the masks, wear them.”
No it shouldn’t but no that the tables are turning don’t be surprised if the maskers are subjected to some of their own medicine for awhile.

Why not? I believe that turnabout is fair play. They tried shaming US for not wearing them, we should be shaming them FOR wearing them.

I’m talking about ordinary people, not activists, that for reasons of their own still prefer wearing a mask in certain situations.
They hate being exposed for their fraud.
The scientific reality is that masks do not have any benefit when it comes to protecting oneself or others in just about any situation. People who wear them because it makes them feel safe or comfortable are exhibiting a symptom of neurotic behavior.
