If there’s a Russian convoy that’s been stationary for days, it makes me think Ukraine doesn’t have much of an Air Force left. Hope to be wrong.

Reports are the convoy has been attacked by SU-24 and SU-25 fighters.

There’s a Second Lieutenant at the front of the convoy with a map and compass."You have upside down Ivan comrade. There, there." Said 1st sarge.

There is no way that Russia would line up 40 miles of military vehicles for days unless they had air and land superiority along the highway.

Famous for its “rasputitsa” mud seasons in spring and fall, the area becomes challenging to manoeuvre. Armies experienced this local obstacle in the first and second world wars, yet surprisingly, the Russians sent the vehicles through on the same roads again. The roads are paved now.

Ukraine has no air to ground fighters like the Sukhoi series. They have Mig 29s which are air to air only.

“Ukrainians have reported plenty of air attacks by both planes and drones over the last couple of days.”
That there is some funny chit.

I would say mud, yes. In Kiev proper the roads were fine but outside the city there were plenty of dirt and gravel roads
(I was there in 2016 and 2017)
