Look at the targets claimed. They are taking over this country in the exact same way we take over a country to replace a strongman we don’t like. Honestly, the Russians have shown more restraint than we do when we overthrow a country (see first days of Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom). The Russians have blinded the Ukrainian military. That’s what all the explosions, with no corresponding battle damage shown, have been. Before I’m flamed for posting “Russian propaganda”, remember up until one week ago, Russia’s military might had been unquestioned by the entire world since 1945. Now we get laughable disinformation from Kiev and DC such “ghosts of Kiev” and Ukrainian turkey shoots taking out the Russian armor we have spent trillions trying defending Western Europe from. Feel free to indignantly quote the Biden regime, Hillary, CNN, NYT, Fox, Romney, Vindman, all the DC DS talking head disinformation to show what a fool I am. Zelenskyy isn’t relying on the disinformation, he will negotiate a settlement before the Russian Shock and Awe actually begins.

This is far from a “surgical strike.”
This is what we did in Iraq, the second time.
It looked like a surgical strike, at first. This is no Panama Invasion, with where it’s gone, and it’s not a peacekeeping mission for the breakaway provinces.
This amount of incursion is not legitimate, in any form.

I agree with you, the Ukraine is the strong hold of the deep state and filled with Nazis, something our MSM will not say. Sadly too many believe the media lies.

Centralized planning always fails because centralized data collection is always gamed. There is no way, in the fog of war, could these totals be anything but completely made up.

The Russians have blinded the Ukrainian military. That is flat-out ridiculous. The U.S., Britain, and likely any other European country that has the capability is flooding the Ukrainian high command with all sorts of intelligence from satellites, SIGINT, etc.. Additionally, the internet, cell phones, and satellite phones are all still operating, so you can commanders can receive real time intelligence even from ordinary people in the field. Even yesterday, there were all sorts of public reports of the Russian fleet heading in the direction of Odessa.
The Ukrainians are as far as you can get from being "blinded". In fact, the real time, up-to-date intelligence the Ukrainians are receiving is likely one of the reasons they have been so successful defending their country this far.

It is almost impossible to have a reasonable and intelligent discussion about this currently.
As soon as you say that Russia/Putin is not crazy and might have an intelligent reason(s) for moving on Ukraine...from their point of view....the discourse goes right to “crazy” and “be careful who you say that to.”
That you can have people question Russian Press but not ours, after all we have been lied to over the years, is an amazing feat of propaganda and the product of an exceptionally weak but arrogant education system domestically.

The Russian soldier crying and drinking tea while calling mom is a great propaganda tool for Ukraine.
Putin will probably lock him up when he gets home

Quite a believer in all things Russian aren’t you? Believe the Russians, but not the Ukrainians, you seem to say.
And worse, the Russians are better stewards of civilian populations when invading then the US.
They are better because their long range weapons are mostly unguided, incurring collateral damage, while US weapons are designed to minimize collateral damage.
Any Russian “Shock and Awe” will be mostly, if not entirely targeted at civilians, since they are out of precision weapons.
You are not a fool, just another hardcore Putanista propagandist.

Russki trolls have a redeeming feature: They are so moronic and / or obvious that like Putin pushing Ukraine, Finland, etc., toward NATO, I really believe they push 10 people to Ukraine’s side for every 1 they bring to their side. Maybe Putin will “reward” them appropriately, KGB style.
