Putin is NOT crazy and the Russian invasion is NOT failing.
Daily Mail ^ | 3/2/2022 | Bill Roggio

Posted on 03/02/2022 3:00:48 PM PST by FreedomForce

Sympathy for the outnumbered and outgunned defenders of Kyiv has led to the exaggeration of Russian setbacks, misunderstanding of Russian strategy, and even baseless claims from amateur psychoanalysts that Putin has lost his mind.

A more sober analysis shows that Russia may have sought a knockout blow, but always had well-laid plans for follow-on assaults if its initial moves proved insufficient.

With the non-stop MSM stories about the heroic Ukrainian citizens, and I’m sure many are, what is being lost is the corruption, gangsterism, Nazism, murders and even genocide that has been going on in parts of that country.

“But Ukrainians have hated Russians for a long time, not so with Afghans.”

Afghans have a history of hating everyone who tries to take over Afghanistan. Afghanistan has a long history of being easily conquered, but impossible to control for very long.

The Ukraine? Their history and geography does not lend itself to optimism in the present circumstances. Russia/USSR controlled them for centuries.

Key point: "Once again, U.S. and Western officials are falling into the trap of failing to understand the enemy and his objectives."

Roggio is no armchair academic. The reality of the sitaution is getting clearer and replacing confusion, fear, and hope.

Damn it.

I think they call it a soft launch. The missile is pushed out of the launcher then the engine kicks in. It makes the javelin much more user friendly. If you watch a video, it looks like something has gone wrong then the missile takes off toward the target.

This isn’t a Russian fail. It’s been 7 days. How long did it take France to fall to Germany?

Every major city is surrounded. In a few days, the media will drop their headlines just like Covid.

The war is over. The question is what kind of agreement does Putin extract and does Zelensky stay?

I think there will continue to be some street fighting along the way ......

Also about Russian Food supplies going short. Not a problem as they’re simply going into grocery stores and taking what they need. Saw a video of that today....and they weren’t carrying out baskets....just bags like you’d do shopping.

I sincerely doubt the Russians would recover after amputating the armored columns sitting in place in Ukraine. If Russia is going to go nuclear, then it won’t change the stakes with the next county he invades.

Russia's biggest weakness is their economy. They have a lot of weapons stockpiled from their USSR days, but they can't afford to replace major losses.

"There is no oil and little gas worth extraction in Ukraine."

Try googling "Crimea gas deposits" and see what you find...

I'll give you a link for free https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-economy/3191411-ukraine-loses-half-of-its-natural-gas-deposits-due-to-occupation-of-crimea.html

[I for whatever reason am unable to access the entire article on my IPAD, but I saw no reference to ‘Hertling.’

Now, years ago it became evident that Hertling was turned and despite his military credentials he is demonstrative that ribbons and bars are no hindrance to servants caving into the insanity of the Left.

It is a strange thing to behold, yet it is manifest before us.

I wonder why you mentioned him here. ]

As CNN’s talking head on the Russian campaign, he is one of the most visible figures out there on that subject. And he is Pollyanna incarnate re Ukraine’s odds and performance so far. It’s like Comical Ali/Baghdad Bob had been giving lessons to CNN personalities.

I like your idea, but I think it may be the globalists forcing sanctions that are trying to push Russia under China’s control.

Absent the Globalist involvement, Putin got all of the help he needed from Biden, already.

They’re trying to take Kiev with 15,000 men. WWII battles involved 500,000. On each side. And the WWII population of Kiev was likely smaller.

2 stages. 2nd/main stage fires 20/30 yards out.

Safer for the shooter.

They remember the Russians starved millions of them in order to feed the industrial base in Russia. That can never be forgotten or forgiven.

Yeah let’s speculate for a moment let’s say that Putin wins in Ukraine and comes into possession of all these American Stinger missiles. Then let’s say Putin sends gorilla fighters up across the southern border armed with American Stinger missiles. The government won’t be able to do their big CSI thing and that’s about as bad as optics as you can get.

“Wonder how it will be solved.”

At the end of WWII they just moved Germans, Poles, and Ukrainians.

Putin would be stupid not to do it. There is nothing to lose in terms of sanctions anymore. You better hope that these stories are propaganda.
