Majority Leader is always a compromise, and usually tilted highly towards Chamber Of Commerce shills.
We actually may have a chance to replace Mitch, if people don’t try to go for Cruz or someone truly excellent. Big donors won’t allow that; face reality. But Rick Scott has a shot, and he would definitely be better than Mitch or his hand picked mini-me, Thune.
