LONDON — Queen Elizabeth II held two virtual audiences after more than a week of suffering cold-like symptoms from Covid-19.
Buckingham Palace said the 95-year-old British monarch held virtual sessions with the ambassadors of Chad and Andorra. The queen canceled several sessions last week, so the ones held Tuesday suggest she is recovering.
The monarch’s age, Covid-19 diagnosis and a health scare last year caused worry among officials and the public. The palace’s Feb. 20 announcement that Elizabeth had tested positive test for the coronavirus virus prompted concern and get-well wishes from across Britain’s political spectrum.
The palace has declined to offer day-to day commentary on the monarch’s health, citing her right to privacy. But palace officials have said that Elizabeth, who has been fully vaccinated and had a booster shot, would continue with “light” duties at Windsor Castle.

Keith Richards of the UK
She could name Keith as successor. Better choice than Charles.
London Bridge is coming down...
The deadliest virus that can’t kill a 95-year-old.
Was the Royal Self fully vaccinated?
Yes, “fully vaccinated and had a booster shot”.
Am I the only one who would like to see Queen Elizabeth outlive Charles?
Your post is GOLDEN!!!!
No pity party for her cold-like symptoms. The first Queen Elizabeth got smallpox back when there was no vaccine for it. The symptoms were frighful.

I pray for her health.
You and most of what’s left of the Commonwealth.
If a 95 year-old woman can go back to work WHILE sick with the deadliest virus ever known to mankind, methinks the danger posed by said virus might perhaps be a bit overblown at this point.
Just a bit, maybe?
We’re trickling our way to one million American deaths, nearly three quarters since 2020 ended. And now we’re abandoning masks and social distancing quickly as we head into the midterms
The illness is endemic now, and NOTHING we did changed ANYTHING about its overall effects except possibly make it WORSE.
But you go ahead and wear your completely ineffective face diaper and hide from the world: It's a scary place.
We are into the THIRD YEAR of "FIFTEEN DAYS TO FLATTEN THE CURVE".
> Yeah, approximately the same number as would have been sick and died from the flu and the common cold. Or didn’t you notice that the flu completely disappeared last year?
In 2018 and 2019 there were 17,066 deaths from the flu and 7 deaths from the common cold. So 1 million is only 58x more.
Motorcycle accident: covid. Parachute didn’t open: covid.
Complications from surgery: covid.
Funny thing, you can really alter people’s perception of
reality by using falsified data.
Read something other than the MSM, you might actually get some accurate information.
Deaths from traffic accidents of any kind -- 41,000 in each of 2018 and 2019, and 44000 in 2020 (rather than a decrease that would be suggested by shifting them to the covid column). Complications from surgery - about 5000 yearly.
And it's questionable how much of this they would have been doing in 2021 given that after the installation of the dementia patient the motivation wasn't there anymore -- the first thing they did was lower the PCR cycle threshold, yet more people died of covid in 2021 than in 2020.

I don't really read the MSM but whatever you're reading probably isn't grounded in facts either.
I have pasted three years of CDC death data below. Covid deaths in 2020 are found on the "U00-U99 Codes for special purposes" line. In 2020 there were 200,000 more deaths from other causes than in the prior year. I just don't know what the evidence is that would support the idea that all, or even most, of the 350,000 covid deaths were really due to something else.
