NATO doesn’t go out forcing countries to join.
Poland, Romania, Estonia, Latvia etc. WANTED to join, petitioned to join. WHY? Because Russia is a threat.

Countries want to group together to protect themselves from the big bully - Russia. And Russia’s actions in Georgia and Ukraine are adequate proof for WHY these countries want to join an alliance to protect themselves FROM russia
