Troops are trained in rote set pieces, with no time devoted to improvising if things don’t go as planned.
Military operations designed to take place sequentially—Step 1, then 2, then 3, etc.—fell apart, catastrophically. If Step 2 hit a big obstacle, the by-the-book soldiers moved on to Step 3 anyway. Therefore, large troop-transport planes tried to land, even though the airport hadn’t been completely secured and Ukrainian air defense systems hadn’t been destroyed. As a result, two Il-76 transport planes, each carrying 100 airborne troops, were shot down.
Tanks aren’t supposed to roll through hostile territory all alone. They need to be escorted by infantry troops alongside or by combat planes from above, to avoid getting ambushed. Yet, in this invasion, Russian tanks are rolling all on their own or providing protection for reconnaissance scouts, but getting no protection for themselves. So, as might be expected, lots of Russian tanks are getting ambushed.

So you don’t really have a source.. got it.
Putin’s war plan makes no sense.
He seems to be view Odessa, a critical port with Black Sea beaches full of beautiful women, as a low priority.
He seems to view Kyiv, an administrative center full of fat bureaucrats, as a high priority.
One advantage that the Ukrainian army has in some places over the Russians is the nearly continuous fighting by Ukrainians against the separatist rebels in the Donbass area. Many people in the Ukrainian army have spent time in combat, while few of the Russian troops have. Experience counts.
Ukraine was part of Imperial Russia since Catherine the great. There is alot of intermarriage and has been for over a century. I can imagine that the will to be the aggressor in this fight would be difficult.
Really?
FEMA and ready.gov say when the a-bombs fall, be sure to wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart in the shelter. Gotta prevent the spread.
Dream on. Sounds like you have not spent much time around tanks.
Putin can only survive by using a few Fuel / Air bombs in the middle of “Keef” and I’m sure he knows that it’s unlikely the US has the political will to respond in kind if he (Putin) hits a NATO country with a tactical low yield nuclear weapon. Grandpa Diaper doesn’t have the balls nor does he have the support of half the people in this country - after all, 60% of us are “white supremacists” and “Trump supporters” right? Anti vaxxers and deplorables. The people don’t believe a freaking thing the media says anymore.
Any NATO country that traffics in weaponry used to thwart Putin’s goals and kill Russian troops risks Hellfire - they better know it.
Are you listening Germany?
Yes. A lot of Russians have family and friends there.
We, the people, are being played. In Russia, in Ukraine, in Europe, in the USA.
If President Trump was in charge, I would feel confident we would be played to our advantage, with the least deceit reasonable.
If Ukraine holds out, be ready for:
"Biden the masterful foreign policy genius".
"We must push the global reset more and faster!"
The Republicans and Patriots are all traitors."
"The LGBTQ soldiers saved the day!"
They're a third-world country with first-world nukes and a shitload of petroleum.
sorry, i don’t believe they’re interested in all-out invasion.
otherwise, we would’ve seen 10+ days of carpet bombing, shelling, and missiles.
what we did see were surgical strikes on US bioweapons labs.
articles like this is trying to get them to step it up so they deserve the phoney rep being pushed by the media
there’s definitely more going on
“So you don’t really have a source.. got it.”
You seem to have a strong interest in this.
Proof of two Il-76s shot down? I keep hearing the claim but haven’t seen the crash sites. You’d think that would be plastered everywhere.
This analysis is laughable. It assumes that Russia intended to destroy Ukraine.
The objective, at least initially, was to force the Ukrainian government to capitulate with an absolute minimum of damage to the Ukrainian civilian population and infrastructure.
If Putin loses his patience, then you might see a different side of the Russian Military.
Yes, the U.S. Army, the Marine Corps, plus the Anglosphere armies, the French, Poles and others are tactically and operationally proficient. They can shoot, move, communicate, and sustain operations over distance and time.
Our problem in Afghanistan was strategic. Unrealistic and contradictory goals that battlefield success could not turn into a lasting strategic result. In short a political problem stemming from bad policy, not military failure.
The Russians are fond of “flesh wave” tactics. Tanks are expensive, lives are cheap.
CC
Russia is regrouping for the next big push March 1-7.
In this age of everybody with a cell phone, and the amount of play that other footage from the area is getting, how is it that nobody has produced video from the burning columns of tanks, the wreckage and bodies from the loss of hundreds of elite airborne soldiers, any of it?
Yet here we are, treating information from “sources” in a warzone as gospel.
" Bad new for you Alex Jones bots, Russia's Army really is this bad. It poorly trained and poorly lead. It got hopelessly massacred fighting the Chenyans
