That would Require NATO to fire from NATO territory at Russian planes if they fly over non-NATO territory. Russians could easily Or accidentally call that bluff and it’s WWIII.

Exactly why should the West “do their part” to help a corrupt country like Ukraine? We can send ammo or humanitarian aid but absolutely no American boots on the ground. Or in the air over Ukraine either. FFS, we just got out of a 20-year war. Was Ukraine in the hills of Afghanistan alongside our boys & girls “doing their part?”
