They simply can't because they are not reliable. It doesn't take an educated person to understand that wind and solar are transient. When the wind stops blowing or the sun is not out or is not as intense, which is a major portion of the day, these renewables are useless.
Demand for energy continues to climb and you need an on-demand form of energy that can fill in the gaps when wind and solar fail such as nuclear or natural gas or coal.
So Dementia Joe kills the oil pipelines, cancels oil drilling on federal lands, but then eagerly imports 600,000 barrels of oil a day from Russia and pays them in dollars, while talking about removing Russia from SWIFT?
