Don't fall for the deliberate misdirection in these "classification." They are almost ALL queer men, or those who have sex or do drugs with queer men. HIV/AIDS is queer-centric.

As they would say about people refusing to talk about AIDS back in the day, “silence is violence” and failure to disclose their known status to partners IS their actions. Accountability. Even with one-a-day antivirals, living with HIV is no joke. There’s the testing, needing to find the routine that works best for you in terms of diet and medicine plus the mental stress. It’s worse if you were mislead or outright lied to. I’ve seen the toll up close in two unconnected black men close to me. I knew each of them before they contracted HIV. I have seen how diagnosis can change a person’s outlook on life and how they see themselves. I have NO sympathy for those who would deceive. Nondisclosure is an assault.

The women probably don’t know their men are on the DL until they turn up with HIV themselves which brings us back to the utter foolishness of this argument that failure to disclose is perfectly acceptable and to expect honesty from a sexual partner is deemed wrong.

I have low tolerance for those who condemn without walking a mile in others’ shoes. There’s a reason God Almighty will sit in judgement of our souls and not humans who can’t see their own sins.

I realize the culture of DL exists, and it’s sad. But I still contend that these victimized women are a very tiny percentage of the total.
