Our politicians have used the Ukraine as a ATM for years. Heck biden was caught on tv bragging about making them fire someone that was investigating him and others for filtering money. Was over there bringing Ukraine a big check of our taxpayers dollars. Said if they didn’t fire him that he wouldn’t give them the check. They fired him. And bidens son hired to do a job he don’t know how to do and was paid 3 million dollars. I bet that 3 million came out of the aid check we paid them. Makes you wonder who else gets some of that laundered money. Money that they collect from taxpayers..
Yes, the groupthink is strong for this Ukraine stuff, perhaps even more than COVID.
I think part of it is that FR tends to skew toward an older population. A population that grew up under the mindset of the cold war where Russia/Soviet Union = bad.
That makes them easy targets for what the Democrats are trying to do with this to save themselves in the midterms. They are falling for it all.

I’m more of a linguist than a grammarian, but sometimes the blatant disregard of grammar sticks in my craw. The problem with grammar is that it so quickly becomes nitpicking.
So I try to limit my grammar poking to when people say the opposite of what they mean, or the misspelling/grammar is in the TITLE of the thread or the first line. Sometimes when I see more than 3 grammar mistakes in a sentence I jump on it, but usually it’s when I disagree with the statement.
I agree. WORDS MEAN THINGS and all this kabuki, the MSM and social media memes (#ukrainewinning) coupled with this administration’s diversionist efforts away from sagging poll numbers are nothing but fodder to prop up a man who can’t even figure out who keeps crapping in his pants.

Did the Russians abuse Americans for 2 1/2 years, locking us down, forcing useless experimental injections, burning and looting our cities, destroy 500,000 small businesses, or fire hundreds of thousands of Americans for refusing? It was our own leader ship in thrall to the WEF.
