I’m impressed with Poroshenko too, not dissimilarly from the 2nd thief on the cross. Poroshenko is under prosecution in Ukraine for alleged deals with the separatists in Donbas. Yet, instead of staying safe in Poland to watch his prosecutors go down, he came back to Ukraine to fight in the freaking streets with poorly armed militia. (Well, they did have a Javelin launcher but I think they were very low on missiles, last time I heard of that.)
The man was / is clearly scared shitless, but asked about being a Russian target he laughed it off: (paraphrasal) “I’ve already been their target for 8 years.” When asked how long Ukraine could hold out, he paused a moment, seemed to reflect, and then said “Forever.”
Poroshenko is very high on the list given the mercenaries to take out, I gather they hold him responsible for tanks firing on protesters early in the Donbass violence
Just watched a Ukrainian soldier open up a box of field rations taken from the Russians.
He was pointing to the expiration date on a package of rations of 2015 and couldn’t believe Russia was giving this crap to their soldiers to eat

There actually are Nazi groups in Ukraine (not neo Nazis) who are part of the Ukraine government in the regions Russia wants.
Eastern Europe is a weird backward place.
The Soviet Union provided a very basic, awful-tasting combat ration called the
“Sukhoi Pak” (Dry Ration). Consisting entirely of preserved bread
and canned foods, the three choices were: a can of preserved meat, several hard
crackers, a small can of cheese, a tea bag, and a large cube of sugar; two cans
of meat mixed with buckwheat groats and hard preserved bread; a can of meat
stew and a second can of vegetables or fruit. This did not work out well in
Afghanistan, so the Soviets developed an “improved” ration called
the Mountain Ration. Still consisted of canned items, but with more supplements.
Provided a can of meat or fish or meat mixed with vegetables, a can of meat
mixed with oatmeal, a can of buckwheat groats mixed with fruit, a small can
of sweetened condensed milk, a small can of fruit or berry juice, a sour lemonade
drink, and preserved bread or crackers. This ration is currently issued to Russian soldiers.
And they didn’t even have a Fauci to direct their Covid fascism, or hide possible low cost treatments.
so what that doesn’t give Russia a blank check to roll its tanks whereever it wants.
