Nuclear Explosion
Nuclear explosions can cause significant damage and casualties from blast, heat, and radiation but you can keep your family safe by knowing what to do and being prepared if it occurs.
A nuclear weapon is a device that uses a nuclear reaction to create an explosion.
Nuclear devices range from a small portable device carried by an individual to a weapon carried by a missile.
A nuclear explosion may occur with or without a few minutes warning.
Fallout is most dangerous in the first few hours after the detonation when it is giving off the highest levels of radiation. It takes time for fallout to arrive back to ground level, often more than 15 minutes for areas outside of the immediate blast damage zones. This is enough time for you to be able to prevent significant radiation exposure by following these simple steps:
I’m gonna hide under my desk.
SOTU: no masks
Nuclear holocaust: need cloth masks to keep out radioactive particles AND COVID.
Got it.
damn the BEE... wait, wut?
My mask has successfully protected me from covid for two years. I’m sure it can handle a little nuclear radiation
Jut when you think it can’t get any stupider...
WTH?
You can’t kiss your ass goodbye if you’re wearing a mask.
As soon as I saw the headline, I thought it would be a Babylon Bee article.
LOL
I’m on Staten Island, NY
I looked at the heat radius.
3rd degree burns where I am. No shock wave.
So I won’t evaporate, I won’t get killed by my building falling...
But i’ll be in agony until the 3rd degree burns kill me.
That might be the WORST possible outcome.
Ah, maybe they’re wrong and I’ll die instantly :)
After wearing masks for the past 2 years, the bidAn admin knows we all now are in desperate need of cleaning them.
Nothing like a little nuking to kill the 2 years worth of germs build-up.
Yeah, right.
So my dome shaped umbrella won’t be helping me out?
It’s got stripes, lots of them!
The stripes are to ‘fool’ the radiation.
That’s what the website said, anyway. //
I bet all that water and biscuits in the Civil Defense Shelters is still good.
Oh yeah, I forgot. They closed down those shelters after the USSR collapsed.
I hate to say it, but I laughed so hard when I read this. We will never get rid of those darn masks.
Nah, all you need is the nuclear blast vaccine.
Safe and effective.
Masks. What can’t they do!?
