The United States Embassy has told Americans in Russia to leave the country immediately while outbound flights remain available.
In a security alert on its website Sunday, the U.S. Embassy in Russia warned Americans to flee the country due to the continued cancelation of commercial flights.
“An increasing number of airlines are canceling flights into and out of Russia, and numerous countries have closed their airspace to Russian airlines,” the alert said. “U.S. citizens should consider departing Russia immediately via commercial options still available.”
The U.S. Embassy further reminded Americans in the country that the Department of State’s Travel Advisory has set Russia at “Level 4: Do Not Travel.”
“Do not travel to Russia due to ongoing tension along the border with Ukraine, the potential for harassment against U.S. citizens, the embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia, COVID-19 and related entry restrictions, terrorism, harassment by Russian government security officials, and the arbitrary enforcement of local law,” the travel advisory states.

Putin is worse than the Devil.
Ukraine is somehow now decent, non corrupt, and there’s no long game.
I think FR’s main position, by percentage of posts, is that fighting Putin is good.
Globalism is far more deleterious than Russian aggression.
Our biggest threat, if freedom is the main concern, is that globalism via destruction of nationalism is in this case good.
When Putin is gone, and if we crush China, what next?

I was just going to post that this is a bad time for the US to be without a President. No ones’ fingerprints are on what is happening. Everyone knows that Biden is a vegetable.
The way I see it is that Putin might tell his thugs to beat Americans just for the hell of it. Putin was “sane” until now. But it seems that he has lost it recently. I suspect we’ll find out more in a bit.
And here’s your penny change. You have a right to your opinion and yours alone.
Democrats should impeach him. Give Kamala Harris a shot. If she can't do the job, then we'll have to go with Pelosi. After her, it's Patrick Leahy.
