My precious wife Joy, my love since 1973, passed away suddenly yesterday at home.
She lost consciousness and couldn’t be revived by medics after 911.
I have no friends or relatives around but my sisters in law and others will arrive from other states for the funeral.
I loved Joy for so long I don’t know how I can face life without her.
Please pray for her to be in Heaven and please pray for me to cope.
Thank you.—F B
Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide.
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.
Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day;
Earth's joys grow dim; its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see;
O Thou who changest not, abide with me.
Not a brief glance I beg, a passing word,
But as Thou dwell'st with Thy disciples, Lord,
Familiar, condescending, patient, free.
Come not to sojourn, but abide with me.
Come not in terrors, as the King of kings,
But kind and good, with healing in Thy wings;
Tears for all woes, a heart for every plea.
Come, Friend of sinners, thus abide with me.
Thou on my head in early youth didst smile,
And though rebellious and perverse meanwhile,
Thou hast not left me, oft as I left Thee.
On to the close, O Lord, abide with me.
I need Thy presence every passing hour.
What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?
Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me.
I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless;
Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness.
Where is death's sting? Where, grave, thy victory?
I triumph still, if Thou abide with me.
Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies.
Heaven's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.
Lord,
Please help Frank through this difficult time.
Please comfort his hurting soul.
In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you so much.
Six months now since I lost my precious Joy.
Still cry at some point each day but less often. She was so much a part of me since we met in September, 1973 and it weas literally was love at first sight for me, and we were married nearly 47 years. I am grateful to God for each of the days together.
People here have been so kind to me in messages. I appreciate yours today.
Very Best

Maybe for some important reason I just saw it today?
My prayer stands. Times 2.

Grateful to you and God.
You have my prayers, Frank.
We don’t know God’s plan, but we need to trust it.
My wife of 23 years passed in December, and all I could think was how wonderful a blessing that we had those years.
I miss her terribly, every day, but know that we will be reunited some day, when The Almighty sees fit. Apparently, He is not done with me yet, as I am still here to fulfil some purpose for Him.
May Almighty God heal your heart, warm you to the blessings He has bestowed, and renew your sense of purpose in the absence of one whom you loved and who loved you. Let the Lord fill that void, and you will be fine.
Prayers up for you both!
To All:
Some kind of mixup. My dear wife died February 26, 2022 and I was blessed by many prayers and condolences from people on this forum last year.
Thanks. This popped up in my sidebar and I thought either I really had lost too many brain cells, something had pulled me off FR for a time (happens occasionally), or, as you say “some sort of mixup”.
Regardless, do take care.
Thank you very much. Your caring means a lot to me.
Joy’s two sisters, brother and two nephews visited here last week to visit the cemetery together and show our continuing love for her.
April 27th would have been our 50th wedding anniversary. But I am grateful for each of the happy days we were together and that God let me have her love in my life.
I trust she is with Him now and happier than we can imagine and I want to be there someday if I can live a life worthy of it.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Your words are beautiful. Trust in Jesus. He accomplished what we never could. He kept the law perfectly on our behalf, so that he could be a perfectly pure sacrifice for our sins upon the cross. He proved the perfection of his life and death by his resurrection on the third day, and he showed us that we also who believe in him will rise and live with God forever.
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Yes
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Prayers up!
So sorry Frank. Prayers up
Prayers sent for God’s comfort.
Thank you.
