Maybe it’s time for the Argies to attack the Falklands again.
How bad is their economy? How badly is their gubmind doing in the polls? The last time, the Argies launched the attack in part, on their failing economy (’Wag el dogo’?)
IIRC, the RAF has some jets and helos stationed on the Islands, as well as SAMs and 1,200 British Army soldiers on the Island. The Royal Navy also maintains a presence on the Islands although no large ships are permanently stationed there, they do periodically send a destroyer to the Islands.
The Argies can do all the blustering that they want to, about owning the Islands, but I don’t think ‘El Presidente’ wants a bloody nose, as his predecessors in 1982 received. Too many juicy bennies to being ‘El Presidente’, to risk an attack on the Falkland. JMO.
