Sadly, all to true. I play trivia on Thursdays at a local cafe and the kids know rap songs, stupid television programs etc. But I know ancient stuff. A story. One of the questions was who was the general who won Vicksburg during the Civil War. I was the only one on my team who had the answer which was Gen. Grant. They looked at me in kind of a wonder. “How did you know that?” I said, because I was there.
