I don’t understand why all of the news people are pronouncing the name of the city as ‘Keev’.
When you hear it pronounced by natives, it sound like KYE-ehv, more like the phonetic way that we’ve always pronounced it in the past...
I don’t know either. I’ve heard Russians say “Keev” now too!
