Live, intensive gunfire can be heard from the center of Kyiv. The camera is stationary, but turn up the volume to hear the gunfire.
They are at war, and they leave all the lights in the city on? Ok, looks like they turn off the lights at the base of the monument at midnight - but maybe they do that all the time?

Major, major gunfire at the live feed. Word is the Russians cutting off the country’s main internet provider. Also air sirens going off.
Thank you. The gunfire waxes and wanes, but grows super intense at times. The still shot I posted is of Independence Square.
All praise Dear Leader Biden for has masterful handling of the Fall of Ukraine.
This is madness. God help them.
NBC reporting that Russia’s close ally Kazakhstan denied Russia’s request for troops and also said it is not recognizing the Russia-created breakaway republics upheld by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
“Word is the Russians cutting off the country’s main internet provider”
All those live feeds are working.
Its unreal. Among the many sad things- it seems Kyiv is a beautiful city.
I checked this out earlier and the gun fire was further away.
Sounds alive now and much closer.
Huge gunfire now.
Excellent, I hope it’s true.
Wow!!! Massive bombs and bursts. Sounds like they just shot something off!!!
It’s super heavy and getting close to the center of town.
Its all going down in Maiden Square.
Did you just hear the bird squawking?
Yes!
Also, I learned something interesting on Russian social media.
So, various news reports have said that Russia has only sent in about one-third of the troops it had on the borders with Ukraine.
Perhaps they are holding back for a second wave, but they may not have as many effective troops they can throw into Ukraine as the numbers suggest.
About one-third of Russia’s army are conscripts. Young Russian men have to serve in the army for one year.
But it is illegal for Russia to send conscripts out of the country for military hostilities.
After four months, a conscript can apply to be a contract soldier and can then be used in combat.
Russian social media comments I have seen are saying that the Russian army is pressuring conscripts in these units deployed near Ukraine to sign contracts so they can be sent into Ukraine.
Apparently, this is causing concern among many Russian parents.
Whatever shooting is happening inside Kiev is not related to the Russians.
Rather it is the result of giving 20000 automatic rifles to anyone who volunteered to take one.
As an example: in this clip
https://t.me/mig41/13390
a woman is reporting a “fire corrector” to the Uke volunteers — who are to arrest or shoot him. The alleged corrector seems to be just a drunk who waves his hands in the air.
Per Uke sources they disabled sixty fire correctors today.
(Not to say that Russians would not enter Kiev at some point — but they are encircling it, not entering, now ). What is happening inside the city is just self-made hell.
“bird squawking?”
Yeah, that was weird.
