Ukraine's Defense Ministry said early Friday that since Russian invaded the country Thursday morning, Ukrainian forces have inflicted about 800 casualties on Russian forces, destroyed more than 30 Russian tanks, seven Russian aircraft, and six helicopters, CNN reports, noting that it is "not able to independently verify Ukraine's figures."

Who comments on own losses until the conflict ended? There was debunkment of some Ukrainian claims though, including claims of the Ukrainian own losses which were a lie to boost patriotic sentiments.

No doubt there could be a variety of reasons for such, but was simply noticing a trend in claims over the last couple days of such and such emanating largely from one side.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Ukrainians were fighting like devildogs to defend their country. A whole world of motivation difference between that and some low paid Russion conscript.
I just witnessed a fleeing car in Kyiv purposely cut off by a Russian T-72 battle tank which completely crushed the car on the spot and killed its driver cellphoned by Ukrainian women in their apartment crying in blood curdling shrieks… I hope people are really proud to hear of supporting Russia or giving moral support to these cruel demons No better than the red Chinese in Tienanmen Square

Putin didn’t take out the phones. He’s trying to use Psywar to win because his army isn’t good/big enough to do it.
The 2,800 casualties is just estimated based on the number of armored vehicles destroyed. What is clear form the totality of reports is that the Ukrainians are doing better than expected, and the Russians are doing worse.
Interesting. I’ve seen a lot of Russians posting their psywar videos on Chinese Tik tok. Birds of a feather flock together.

Estimates. How do you verify the veracity of every claim sitting on your couch, using social media? Unreliable at best.
KGB Vlad is heavily using Chinese Tik tok in his information war. This is definitely a development to keep an eye on.
Then why are they not being shown on Fox, Newsmax, OAN, or dare say the MSM.
