Ukraine's Defense Ministry said early Friday that since Russian invaded the country Thursday morning, Ukrainian forces have inflicted about 800 casualties on Russian forces, destroyed more than 30 Russian tanks, seven Russian aircraft, and six helicopters, CNN reports, noting that it is "not able to independently verify Ukraine's figures."

I’ve seen a footage of one damaged helicopter which is obviously Russian and two burnt MTLBs which could be either Russian or Ukrainian.
Scores of other footage and pictures trying to sell obvious Ukrainian wrecks for Russian equipment, or outright unrelated to the conflict.
Thats perfect propaganda for the Russian home front.
I saw a pic of a Russian helo that looked like circa early 60’s.
It is very odd that given the number of available cell phones that videos of what is happening are not somehow, someway getting out and viewed. The old dictum that “truth is the first casualty in war” seems to apply here. Yet it was predicted by American officials that Kyiv would be in the hands of the Russians by this morning and its not. The Russians have also called for “negotiations”. So its plausible that the Ukrainians are putting up a stiff, costly, effective resistance.
Finding it interesting in that virtually all the claims have come from Ukraine?
I seriously don’t believe any of it. I think this is propaganda save face to boost up the morale of the population. Zylinsky goes from begging NATO one day to we just wiped out a 30 tanks, a platoon and 800 soldiers? That sounds like news straight out of Bagdad Bob!
I read somewhere that Russia claims it hasn't lost anything or anyone.
Ukrainian fronts on social media are full of such crap, but they are mostly peddling their losses for Russian or outright nothingburgers, like bombastic headline and some idiot on video explaining some fantastic stuff allegedly going on around but all you can see is his face.
At Even half that amount it is going to hurt bad if Russia is thinking beyond Ukraine.
Putin is executing an aggressive schedule at the risk of losing excessive hardware and manpower.
IF Russia Don’t take Kyiv in a week or less. I think his invasion will stall out.
