Ukraine is being hit by a second wave of missile strikes from Russia following a heavy bombing campaign this morning.
An adviser to the president confirmed the fresh round of attacks after explosions were heard in a number of cities.
Footage shows a military warehouse near Odessa being obliterated while another video appears to show a number of Russian helicopters attempting to seize Antonov Aiport.
The strikes come after Ukraine’s border force confirmed a checkpoint between the Kyiv region and Belarus had been overrun by Russian forces.
Troops and tanks have entered the Vilcha crossing, which lies less than a 100 miles north of the capital on a road which runs directly to the city.
It’s the first sign of a significant ground invasion making a breakthrough in the west of the country.
The checkpoint is around a two-and-a-half drive from Kyiv, which has sustained rocket strikes since this morning.

Their APCs didn’t mount Active Protection Systems at that point - they’ve since been working on that, at least with their larger APCs/IFVs.
They also introduced these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMPT_Terminator
Thanks for the link. Never heard of most of these, of course.
A nightmare.
I also could note the incident not only in the well researched and sober book UFOs In Wartime by Mack Maloney—— as well as the episode of Ancient Aliens TV show. Military office testified in Congress over it, so it wasn’t fake. Row of nuclear missiles in silos in the US went offline one by one and could not be ready to fire. Later they one by one went back to life.
If ANYONE on Earth or in space can do that, they can neuter our entire nuclear arsenal someday and leave us with low grade conventional weapons against whatever they’ll use. Bad news.
If the Ukrainians can withstand the early onslaught, they can resist through urban and guerrilla warfare. The Russians will once again find themselves bogged down in a protracted fight.
Little is being said of this, but the Russians, after their initial onslaught, will find they’ve run into a buzzsaw. This will grind into a long, protracted guerrilla warfare situation. Look for the Ukes to start using IEDs to neutralize Russian tanks.
Is that you, Vladimir? That sounds like it came directly from Iszvestia.
How many Soviets had smart phones? These Russian kid conscripts are no match for a war hardened Ukrainian army. The first whiff of powder and they will be thinking about being back on instagram ASAP.
I would say to wait for independent confirmation on that - for claims on *both* sides.
There are photographs and videos of Russian armor with that infamous “Z” symbol painted on their sides, and other symbols, as seen painted on them when they were first crossing. They are definitely taking losses.
Unfortunately, Photoshop is a thing these days. I’m sure the Russians *are* taking losses, but the degree and number of losses? Questionable until otherwise confirmed - for both sides.
When did FR start sounding like a Psaki press release? When the EU, Resident Biden and the fake news are in lockstep hivemind agreement on something, you can be assured the narrative is total bs.
I think the most weird of the close calls was the black bear almost starting WW3.

If the Russians try to do to Kiev what they did in Grozny, then already bogged down they will invite NATO airstrikes invited by Ukraine.
Definitely should be over in a day or so. Russian troops will surround the city and give them time to surrender. There is no winning this one against that army.
Russian troops entering Vorzel 40Km from Kiev reported by Ukraine Defense minister just now.
Air raid sirens going off in Kiev.
you better hurry, because google is burying the stories as fast as they can
anyone remeber GW 1 and Kuwait and not telling us they were slant drilling into sadaams oil from Kuwait and is the reason iraq went into Kuwait
Why are your comments sounding like they came from Putin’s press secretary? The talking points you gave almost mirrored his. Putin is a thug who needs to be crushed like the cockroach that he is.
“There is no winning this one against that army.” Exactly the same
Thing was said in late 1979 when the Soviets entered Afghanistan.
People in Russia are demonstrating in solidarity with Ukraine. Demonstrators arrested in 47 Russian cities. Watch this grow like our Vietnam protests! I wonder how many antitank guns the Ukraine military has?
