As a disinterested person, not paying much attention, I ask the question, what is the beef?
Hubby thinks it’s that there is now a non-Russian gov running Ukraine and Putin doesn’t like that. Wants a buffer state. And the buffer state can only be such by being pro-Russian/Putin.
States basically he wants to overthrow the “anti-Russian” admin and install pro, which makes it basically a puppet state.
