Are the POLITICAL PRISONERS - TAMA LICH and PAT KING going to be released?
They did, and with the support of the dippers (NDP) it passed 185-151. The Tories and BLoc all voted against it.
No Confidence vote coming.
Bank accounts are unfrozen earlier today EPOC times reported banks were furious people pulling everything out of banks INCLUDING big businesses!! Wonder what bank investors were thinking about this!!
Commons voted to approve.
Senate has been debating, but done until tomorrow. The Senate group aligned with Trudeau has been in lockstep, and they are in the majority.
If the government can freeze you financially at any moment, why keep money in a bank? At zero interest, just keep as much cash as possible in a safe somewhere. I would be withdrawing all I could if in Canada even if I was not impacted.
I have no idea if any of my investment are Canadian but I ‘ll check with my broker and stop any that are. I can see this idiot doing anything!!!
So, what about the vaccine mandates? Do they still stay?
The little old Mohawk lady is the heroine here.
The blockades were over before the act was authorized. So his reason for lifting this are BS. The enactment was meant to be a warning of how the government would deal with protests unfriendly to the official government stance on any matter. Not just on COVID19 actions.
I prefer Lunar Flittermouse Guano
I'm sorry to be the one to inform you that it did. The Emergency Law was approved, roughly 181 to 153 (going on memory). The coalition that voted for it was the Liberals and the NDP (the far left party). The coalition voting against was the so-called Conservatives and the Quebec party.
I was surprised.
There was the strong likelihood that it was going to be shot down in the Senate and since the Senate rarely if ever has any balls, that alone would be that sort of major embarrasment.
The House voted yes 180something to 150something.
The Senate has yet to vote on it.
And there’s the Queen’s rep, (the GovernorGeneral I think), that has to review it.
I think that's exactly it.
Trudeau had no problem shutting down Canada for years, but the Truckers go for a few weeks and it’s an emergency.
Please people, open your eyes before we are all totally screwed.
What was the Senate vote? How many for, how many against?
So far south that they are becoming north ;-)
I believe basically Trudeau was bullied into doing the clampdown by The Biden Administration.
