For the last 100 years he might be correct but what the little snake forgot to say is before Peter The Great and Catherine The Great the Ukraine was NEVER PART OF Russia for centurys. Matter of fact, There was NO RUSSIA and when the very first outpost Moscovi was established, it was part of the Kyevan Russ.The main diff here is that many “Ukrainans” are ethnic mixed-scythian etc, and the Moscovi are ethnic Slaves. It was the Vikings who established Kiev and Novgorod firstly as bascialy trading posts for trade with the eastern Roman empire.

I could make the claim that historically Kiev is a part of Poland, ever bit as much as the Russians can claim it. It went back and forth over the centuries.
