Suppose the USA took the example of Putin, and decided to send troops into Alberta, the towns of Arnprior and Embrun, and maybe Quebec, to express concern about the freedom of those whose freedom is being crushed by Ottawa.
We could recognize them as being the country they yearn for, and protect them from the oppressor.
We would be the “peacekeepers”, just like Putin!
Not a bad idea, but only a Trump could pull that off.
