Think of their software wallet as a traditional leather wallet.

They sell those.

The government asks them to freeze the funds in the leather wallets they sold.

The leather wallet company scratches their heads and then tells the government that’s not possible.

Good example. I understood that.

But I still do not really understand how crpto currency is handled.

Did not say I was incapable of understanding it, but never spent the time to read about it. Did not see the reason to do it. May be, now I might.
