What a relief for me. Not for any funds I have that may have been jeopardized but I was seriously worried that I misunderstood how blockchain works. Apparently not. What they demanded is impossible.

If we had a real president, he should freeze all US bank accounts of Liberal and NDP Members of Parliament, confiscate their property in the US, and expel their diplomats. If they have any children in US Universities revoke their student visas. After all they have unacceptable views.
But the exchanges are not protected. So you do need to keep you bitcoin in a local wallet on your PC or phone or flash drive. I’m not up on bitcoin but this would be news. It sounds scary but at some point any bank or financial institution will just take you money with a piece of paper that looks like it comes from a government agency.
