Do they ever stop to think that if medical professionals are refusing the booster, maybe there is something wrong with the booster? Or is the reaction solely limited to: “Damn those Republicans! Our Universal Digital Loyalty Passport is going to take longer than we thought to implement!”

"...75% are boosted or are willing to be..."

That's an interesting statistic. Are the reading their minds? <>If only the vaccine weren't so hard to get, I guess...

Just drop all these stupid and useless rules and regulations.

No lockdowns
No Vaxx passports
No mandates

This lamebrain Cuomo/Hochul idea would have brought healthcare to it’s knees. Many healthcare workers were refusing and Hospital Presidents said they would not comply, forcing Hochul’s hand.

Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with. Atlas Shrugged

“While we are making progress with 75% of staff received or are willing to receive their booster, the reality is that not enough healthcare workers will be boosted by next week’s requirement in order to avoid substantial staffing issues in our already overstressed healthcare system,” she said.

Well now, if this is a purely scientific decision, then they’re playing games with peoples’ health by not following thru with terminating these healthcare workers. Why on earth would they sacrifice healthcare and kill grandma for the expediency of saving a few recalcitrant workers?

"...we are announcing additional efforts to work closely with healthcare facilities and ensure that our healthcare workforce is up to date on their doses."

The state's efforts to increase the booster vaccination rate of healthcare workers will include bringing boosters directly to healthcare settings.

Yeah, the problem was that the shots weren't accessible enough. Nobody knew where to go or how to get them. Ha, ha, ha...idiots!

areas, such as nursing home staff at 51% and adult care facilities at 63 percent, have much lower booster rates.....

These aren’t the most skilled or educated folks in healthcare. However, they care for a population that’s almost 100% vaxxed and have personally observed the before and after.

So they fire healthcare workers and then realize they have a shortage, so they will suspend shots but the rest were fired for not taking them. Bet lawyers are on speed dial.

They’ve already fired everyone who hasn’t gotten any shots. They’re only talkin about firing people who refuse to get a third shot. Not much of a victory in my opinion.

It’s a shame everybody didn’t refuse the job in the first place and they would have broken this thing early on. These people have already had two jabs they’re already screwed.
