I didn’t say the old woman tried to. I am saying that some protestors around her did so. There were a large number of protestors trying to grab the reins and stop the horsemen which could have lead to her being knocked down. When you’re a part of a lawless and unruly crowd opposing the police, unintended things can happen to you.

Ottawa is filled with the same Washington D.C. types that are in this Country’s Capital.
Government pigs feeding at the trough, career folks out of touch with the rest of the country.

Of course in Ottawa the protest isn’t being embraced by the Government Class.
The protesters are blocking the entrances to their favorite coffee shops and parking spaces.

Regarding the woman killed by the Police Horse.

1) An elderly woman using a walking aid had no business in the front of the protest line. Her comrades should have got her out of there.
But I doubt they expected such cruelty from the police.

2) The Police should have pulled her on to their side for her safety. It was neglect and careless disregard for a senior citizen. I hope the Cop is happy with himself. I hope there are consequences for the Cop to pay.

Before a protest, the people are citizens.
During a protest the people don’t suddenly lose their citizenship and rights.

Of course after the protest they don’t lose their rights either like the Jan.6th protesters.

All Trudeau had to do was man up and go out there and speak with the truckers in the beginning.
They would have felt respected, Trudeau would have appeared like a leader and concerned. And none of this would have happened or gone on this long.

But when you have a child’s mentality like Trudeau, the die was cast and this was bound to happen.
