“and because I’m an AMERICAN not Russian”

Are you an American that served in military uniform?

I helped win the cold war against the USSR.

And yes, Putin is a superior leader and maintains fidelity to the interests of his nation.

Unlike our POTUS.

Bingo. I heard a former general on Fox business say Putin now has 80% of his army surrounding Ukraine, including units pulled from Siberia.
And btw this general wants Biden to shut up and do nothing further, so he wasn’t a war monger.

You are correct about Biden. Putin ultimately will bring Russia to ruin with military adventures. Just like Hitler did. Therefore he is not a superior leader. Thank you for your service during the cold war. It was deterrence that kept that war cold.

>>>Sorry, I don’t know the trustworthiness or provenance of any reporting on this situation.<<<

Good position to take. Truth and trustworthiness are hard to come by in this mess.

This two star hit the nail. Putin’s army is not the Red Army of Brezhnev that could have rolled over NATO in the 70s. It may be well equipped but it’s not large and not really capable of large scale sustained offensive ops.

Logic would say that neither Russia nor the Ukraine would want to sabotage the pipeline. So it comes down to one of these two: pro-Russian militias in the area, hoping to get more support from the Russian military across the border, or the US if you believe that any parts of the US administration want this war to start.

I would say it’s more likely to be the pro-Russian militias, hoping the war would start and they could accomplish more of their goals with more support from Putin’s forces.

Putin would probably realize this and not change his plans just because of this incident. Whatever those plans are, he won’t be drawn in by a third party.

“Aleksandr Liventhal, the governor of Russia’s Jewish Autonomous Oblast – established in 1928 – says that 80% of land in the region, which borders China’s Heilongjiang Province, is now “controlled by Chinese.””

The Russians also have NORDstream I. Blowing up the main Ukrainian pipeline would Affect the civil population, affect the neighboring countries not the russian forces. If it was controlled pipeline destruction, you get to fix it when you want or pretend to blow it up and shut down the pipeline and open it up on your terms.

Russia doesn’t end 100miles from the Ukraine border. It’s Hilarious, if it wasn’t so sad, how NATO sending troops all over the region is defensive in nature but Russia havjng troops in their own country is offensive. Hard for people to imagine Russia sending troops to Mexico and calling it a defensive posture but here we are, roles reversed

So the Russians who depend on the sale of natural gas blows it up.

A pipeline can be repaired in a matter of days. There are many tactical reasons they could want the pipeline sabotaged for a period of time, including incitement to war. That doesn't mean it's out of commission forever.

Some here who seem to think Putin is a good guy need to pull their heads out of their rumps. Putin is NOT our friend, he's a corrupt dictator who absolutely does not have the best interests of the world in mind. The fact that Biden is also corrupt doesn't make Putin good. Both are scumbags but Putin is actually a competent scumbag, which makes him more dangerous.

NATO was only needed because the Russians overran parts of Europe.
No we wouldn’t accept having Russian troops in Mexico but not a valid comparison .
Europe is a much different place with many countries very close to each other .
And Poland or France doesn’t pose an invasion threat to Russia, but Russia did enslave Poland.
Yes Germany did invade Russia and many Russians died .
But the situation today in that regard isn’t remotely similar .

This is all about Russian expansion plans.
A strong President Trump kept Putin at bay.
Now with President dribbling oatmeal Biden in office, Pooti sees his chance .

They are both corrupt, but I haven’t seen Putin selling out his country.

He's skimmed and stolen billions from the people of his country. Biden hasn't been as successful, not for lack of trying but rather because he's not as smart.

That’s the usual corruption. Giving the US to the globalists/UN/WEF and China is of a completely different nature.

The current CIA crew is more inept, corrupt and cowardly than the patriots that preceded them. The current operational leaders at the CIA were recruited and promoted based on their political reliability. And when I say reliability it is not to the US constitution, it is to the global communist. And yes, they all know we know.
