Departments of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion have resulted in 10-1 liberals v. conservatives on college campuses.
Back when I was an older grad student in Tuscaloosa, circa 1994, the Crimson Tide History Department had only two conservative professors: the often-published Forrest McDonald and a specialist on antebellum “Free Men of Color” and Blacks who owned slaves — Gary Mills. Nowadays, I would wager few History Departments have any conservatives.
