Political science is correct.

The Dems are looking at their internal polling and seeing that their favorability numbers are in the toilet. Real science has nothing to do with their decisions to drop the mandate.

So these DEMS have destroyed livelihoods without a care, now that their “jobs” political careers are on the line, they pivot. Shame on them.

Exactly. Just today we see Austria back off restrictions on unvaxed, New Mexico radicals drop masking immediately, and today is the first day that Disneyland dropped their mask rule.

Almost like orders went out from central command.

The globalists see resistance getting serious and suddenly back down. But don’t fall for it, this is not victory. They are pretending it is because “numbers are down”, etc. They still claim the right to do it again anytime they please. And they will not back down on other things.
The military will not climb down from the mandate. The government will not object to employers requiring masks and shots. They will still have social media censor news that is not in line with the position of party. Cruises will still require tests. Travelers will still have to get shots, etc.

This is a minor tactical retreat, not a surrender on their part.

NM Ping list

I’m shocked, pleasantly surprised.... Unless of course she has something more draconian up her sleeve for next week.

Peripherally related: I just spent two weeks in a central-ish NM Hospital... There were never more than two “Covid patients’ in that hospital at any time during those two weeks.

Lifted it for schools, too.

That’s right. They’re beyond despicable and rotten to the core..

Shame on them.

The thing is, they have no shame.

Yup. And the Rio Rancho school district dropped the mandate, too. They said come as you please. Wanna wear one, wear one. Don't wanna, don't wear one.

“This is a minor tactical retreat, not a surrender on their part.”

Liberals are like a hive of bees.

When the queen bee changes course, all the little liberal bees follow suit.

They’re so predictable.

When I moved here 30 years ago it was cool to bash RR, but they’ve got their act way more together than little Timmy’s ABQ.

Ruidosso (excepting some idiots at the bookstore) has ignored this witch for two years.

I’ve seldom, if ever, seen masks, except Wal-Mart employees who have it around their chins in case corporate comes by.

When asked about masking in schools, Governor Lujan Grisham confirmed the decision also applies to students in public schools.

I guess Andy "Hochul" Cuomo will be the last to punish school kids.

NYS lifted the muzzle mandate for the private sector. Private employers are still muzzling employers.

Publik skrewl kids are still muzzled.

As for mandatory muzzles in healthcare settings...

You know what it says in some fashion on the boxes of muzzles most people spring for: NOT FOR USE IN HEALTHCARE SETTINGS.

Snort.

Yeah. I kinda like RR. Some decent restaurants here (non-chain and local chain). Only reason to go to ABQ is for green chile. Rosales Market brings it up from Lemitar. Best I've had in the almost 17 years I've been here.

What about any $hot requirements, for restaurants, etc?

Ala NYC.
