Former CNN and Fox Business host Lou Dobbs joined Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on his Firebrand podcast and discussed the future of Republican congressional politics.
During the episode, titled “The Great Lou Dobbs,” Gaetz asks the staunchly pro-Trump television personality about a variety of topics from Ukraine-Russia tensions to the latest news reports on John Durham’s investigation.
In one particularly notable part of the 25-minute conversation, Dobbs declares Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), the current leader of the House Republicans, should not become speaker of the House should the GOP regain the majority in the 2022 midterms.
Dobbs says, “It’s outrageous, he is too much of a, I’ll be kind, if not RINO, a middle-of-the-roader. I personally believe him to be outright a RINO.”

The best thing I can say about McCarthy is he is a wimp.
Put a bit of pressure on him and he will fold. That has worked to get him to make some conservative decisions, but he as just as accommodating to the other side.
It’s his only chance of remaining Speaker, but he needs to go. Jim Jordan would be the best replacement, with Gaetz being a close second.
Not crazy about Jordan. Here’s voted for 5he Patriot Act over and over again.
That’s how I see it too. Nancy Pelosi makes him look like a cuck. Hopefully, the house Republicans will get tired of his weak leadership and demand changes.
Trump should be made speaker. Need not be in Congress to be speaker.
Then when Xiden dies from his various illnesses, impeach Kamala for the stolen election. Trump POTUS 2023.

McCarthy wet is finger, stuck it up into a political gale force wind, and decided to go with the flow. I wouldn’t exactly call that a profile in courage.
I can remember when I so naive as to believe those three were conservative. I was happy and excited. One of the biggest disappointments. Another was Bush 43.
