Belarus Leader Lukashenko Warns His Country Will Host 'Russian Super-Nuclear And Up-And-Coming Weapons If Stupid And Mindless Steps Are Taken By Our Rivals'

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko warned on Thursday his country could host 'super-nuclear' weapons if it faces any external threats, as tensions soar between his ally Russia and the West over Ukraine.

Lukashenko is due to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Friday. He has previously offered to host Russian nuclear weapons.

'If necessary, if such stupid and mindless steps are taken by our rivals and opponents, we will deploy not only nuclear weapons, but super-nuclear and up-and-coming ones to protect our territory,' Lukashenko said, according to the state-run Belta news agency.

'But if there are no threats to Belarus from unfriendly countries, then nuclear weapons are not needed here for a hundred years,' he added.

Ex-Soviet Belarus, which is not a nuclear power, will later this month hold a vote on constitutional reforms which could make it legal for Belarus to host nuclear weapons.

Lukashenko, who has been in power since 1994, promised the referendum in the wake of historic protests against his disputed re-election. The constitutional reforms would also allow Lukashenko to remain in office until 2035.

Before the fall of the USSR, there were around 35,000 nuclear weapons scattered across the vast union, according to Harvard Kennedy School.

When the Soviet Union fell, the now-former Soviet states of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus possessed 3,200 strategic warheads between them - most of which were attached to intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) ready to fire at the US.

Since then, all of those 3,200 warheads were deactivated and returned to Russia. There, they were dismantled, with their materials being used for fuel.

Alexander Lukashenko is a Nikita Khrushchev fanboy. He misses the old days.

One nice thing about Lukashenko is he’s reminding the West of why we not only need a strong NATO but a bigger NATO to help contain the imperial ambitions of Tsar Vladimir.

People like to pretend that we don’t live in a dangerous world. They are either entirely dense, or enemies of America.

Putting nukes into Belarus would be a move that even Putin is not stupid enough to contemplate.

Poland, Hungary, Romania etc, I’m sure would love to host American bases for Patriots and tactical nukes.

If The Russians go stupid, we all go stupid. This includes Harpoon ship-killers near Crimea.

Will Putin put nukes in the hands of his puppet? Look what happened when Khrushchev was stupid enough to give some to Castro.

We need to let the Europeans deal with their own problems. They've got armies, they've got navies, they've got air-forces, and they've got nuclear weapons.

Super-nuclear weapons get your laundry cleaner, your teeth whiter and your car shinier than the old stuff. They have the miracle ingredient U-235!

Move the Ukraine into NATO, and at the same time move the USA out of NATO.

Works!

Problem we have is that the west has become as bad or worse that our elites and so called enemies are. I wouldn’t want to sacrifice American blood to stave off Commu..... Oh wait, the west wants to be like Chinese commies. And we are worried about Russia and a sloppy speck like Ukraine? Why?

I swear Americans will never wake up and see how they are being played by their own elites and government.

The MSM can’t get enough of more war. Its good for business.

Is it the way he looks or does the world just take him for a fool?? Nato putting nukes in the Ukraine is a Kruschev move. Only Biden stupid enough to threaten that. He’s a meat head.......
