By falsely assuming that a miniscule number of Nazi and Confederate flags seen here and there represent the views of all of the truckers, this article is a good example of the Straw Man logical fallacy.
Its not exactly the purest case of straw man because they are mixing in a genetic fallacy. Also the degree of the misrepresentation of who the protesters are seems too strong to consider an error in logic, but seems more like malicious lying. A moral failure rather than a logical one.
