These people are absolute fools to make bank customers doubt their ability to withdraw their money from a Canadian bank.
I can’t think of a more crazy public statement that could trigger a massive run on all the banks.
Few people understand that any level of bank run would quickly exhaust ALL cash on hand in those banks.
There is only a tiny fraction of currency available for immediate withdrawal.
The people in charge in Canada are reckless and irresponsible lunatics.
They have lost control of the situation.
The name of the game now is “overwhelm the system.”
