Good evening, luvie...thanks for helping honor our troops.
Did the thunder bring any rain yet?

I don’t think it brought much. There was no water standing in the street, on the porch or the patio. All noise and no action. LOL! sigh

Keeping our fingers crossed but we'll see what happens. I have to go to the doctor for a blood draw later today. It's supposed to be in the 30's then. Here are the pics from yesterday at Wichita Ridge.

I sure hope the winds pass “above” or “below” you.
I’m not looking forward to tomorrow’s outing. Hopefully the street plows are out tonight cleaning the main thoroughfares. And then more snow and temps above freezing.
I am fighting with the zzzzz monster and losing, so I’m off the bed here shortly.
Glad Bella was relaxed with the new tech.

Nice to see you had a pretty day yesterday. It looks like it was windy - - the lake was pretty choppy.
It’s c-c-c-c-cold on the backside of the front. It won’t be a good day ahead for a trip to the lake. It’ll be a good day to go straight home from the doctor’s office and enjoy your heater. :-)

Yeah, at this point you sure don’t need snow. LOL! I know we’ve had snow in April, on Easter Sunday, but that was years ago.

We already have wind. LOL It was very blustery today and will be more so tomorrow. The really strong storms will have the worst winds and we hope those bypass us. It seems all of the trees on the farm nowadays are pretty strong. The weak ones have already been blown down. We haven’t had anything big drop out with the past several strong systems that have come through.
I’m with you hoping the plow trucks are out around the city tonight. The parking lots and streets we can see on the Lake Hood cam look horrible to drive on. I hope you don’t have any problems getting to your appointment in the afternoon.
Give in to the zzzzz monster. LOL A good night’s sleep will do a world of good.

It’s early yet and there’s still a lot of time for snow. I just don’t want it ANY time. LOL We had snow last April and that was a drag.

It happens once in a while. What was weird was how late it stayed cold last spring. We were cold into May and it held up planting season by several weeks. And harvest season. Our cotton wasn’t harvested until November and that’s the latest it’s happened since I’ve been here.

I remember that you feared that the farmers weren’t going to get any kind of a harvest after having to start so late.
Speaking of late, I had better go. I got no nap today because of the stuff we needed to do, so I am really tired tonight. See ya mañana!

It was a close call for a lot of farmers. One thing that helped a lot was the warm November we had. A few cold snaps but not enough to wreck things. Yields might have been down a little but no total losses that I saw.
As Hubby’s Aunt Clara liked to say, “One has to be a gambler to be a farmer.”
No nap??? Horrors! LOL Get some good sleep tonight.

We had snow/melt/rain/snow/ice/melt/snow, so I feel your pain!
Right now it is in the melt phase which means “Black Ice Tonight”

Goood almost noon, Early Birds!
Do we love our troops or what!?
They are the best of the best!
Too bad they have an incompetent for a CIC.
Yeah...political, but true.
Hope all y'all have a Thank-A-Troop Thursday!
And don't get blown away in the high winds!
(((hugs)))

Howdy EGC! (((hugs))) Hope the blood draw went well. I have to do that next week. Bah. LOL! I'll bet it's much colder today. It is here. Hope y'all can go to the lake for some fun. I like this pic of Gizmo:
