3rd!!
I think a splash was a good word for it. But it sure did smell good. LOL!
Dang! I was hoping that your new glasses would be the way you needed. It’s so annoying to have to try to explain WHY it doesn’t work. Or at least that’s the case for me.
How did Bella like her new doctor?
Well darn. At least you got enough to get that wonderful just-rained smell. It does smell good.
I didn’t expect the glasses to be right this time but it’s happened twice in years past. One lens is perfect but the other isn’t and that just doesn’t work. We’ll try again.
Bella didn’t see the vet today because she didn’t need to be examined. One of the techs came out and took her to the back for the shot. But Bella seemed to like him last week when I took her in to be examined. She was relaxed the whole time.

Well, it was pretty windy, so I didn’t expect much, but it scooted away and is gone. I don’t know if we even got enough to measure. Guess we’ll find out in the morning.
Looks like your area is going to be wild by tomorrow, according to what Reed Timmer reported this morning. Hope the bad stuff misses you.
Good evening, radu...is BAD weather still on the way? Are you all stocked up so you don’t have to go out?
Today’s weather is horrible...early morning snow, then off and on rain all day. Accidents all over town.
We hit 50 today, much of snow melted but plenty left to go.
50 again tomorrow with rain. Ice is melting too.
Stay safe my friend, these can be dangerous times.
Welcome to hump day : )
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...have you recovered fully from shoveling so much snow? Penny venturing any futher than the front sidewalk?
We had snow and now rain...pick something and stick with it!!!
The whole system is roaring across the country FAST. The weathergal said there will be little time to get tornado warnings out if any form. By the time they get the warnings out, the tornado will have blown on through.
Yesterday we were on the edge of the threat level 2 bubble. Early this morning we were n the middle of it. Now they have us in the threat level 3 bubble. Straight line winds are going to be the biggest problem and can do as much damage as a tornado. It’s not a day we look forward to, that’s for sure.
I have the rain gauge out but with the high winds, a lot of the rain will blow past the top of it. We’ll see how much ends up inside.
Sure wish I could see that pretty full moon tonight. It was really bright last night before clouds started moving in to obscure it.
Hey there, Kathy.
Yes, tomorrow is going to be a dicey day here. I have no reason to go anywhere and will be keeping a close eye on the weather. All errands are run, plenty of food for all of us, so we’re good to go.
I saw the mess you’ve dealt with today. Yuck! I’m not surprised there were a lot of wrecks around town. It’s a sloppy, slick looking mess up there. Be careful when you go out tomorrow!!
I was able to pretty much get my stuff back on track today, but I’m sure glad we didn’t have to cut checks today. Whew!! We have Thursday and Friday to finish picking up the pieces of being behind.
At least the problems happened on an off week and not Hell Week. You’d have been screwed on getting checks out today.
Glad to hear you got pretty much back on track today. I hope this means some sleep tonight! :-)
Yes, the moon was gorgeous last night. I should go check on it tonight, but it’ll be there when I get back up. LOL!
Stay safe. All the weather nerds are making dire predictions. Hope they are over-hyping it. Fingers crossed!
I saw the moon last night when I stepped out with the rain gauge. It as so bright, I didn’t need to use the flashlight to find the gauge holder. It wasn’t very cold and I’d have enjoyed a little walk around the farm but the stink from across the road had me scurrying back inside. LOL
It’s not just the weather nerds making the dire predictions. It’s all the weather people. It’s going to be rough for a lot of folks. The system has exploded the last couple of hours or so.
We're under a t-storm watch until 5 AM Central Time this morning. Watching for storms.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Guess it’s going to be a rocky next few days then. Hope there are no tornadoes, but Timmer seemed to think it was inevitable, especially in MS and AL. Guess there will be a lot of snow falling in some of the places in the system, too.
And here we sit.....nothing. At. All.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I hope you and Gizmo had a good time yesterday at the lake.
You’ve got a swath of rain and storms moving in but at this point, nothing severe. With luck, that will hold.
After tomorrow, things won’t be bad. It’ll be cold Friday but will warm back up Saturday. We’ll be in the upper 60s and even a day with 70 next week.
Just gotta get through tomorrow intact and some people won’t. It’s a very strong system. I hope KY doesn’t get clobbered again. Those poor people have had a rough time of it and don’t need more devastation.
Yes, there’s quite a bit of snow on the backside. It’ll stay north of us this time. Whew!
