Yeah, he must mean imminent. Here are the definitions of both words.

eminent

adjective

1. Well-known and respected, especially for achievement in a particular field: synonym: famous.

2. Outstanding or remarkable.

3. Being such in full measure; complete; absolute.

imminent

adgective

1. About to occur; impending

2. Threatening to occur immediately; near at hand; impending; -- said especially of misfortune or peril.

3. Full of danger; threatening; menacing; perilous.

There are no misspellings though and Townhall.com has nothing to do with it, as it is not the author.

Seems to me that’s just simple respect for the reader and for their own credibility.
