It took years for former President Donald Trump to shake off now-discredited claims of collusion with Russia, but that difficulty comes as no surprise given the continuing revelations of just how sophisticated the attempt to connect him to the Kremlin was.
The first attempt to spy on the Trump campaign came from the FBI in the form of the Steele Dossier, a bogus document purporting to show Trump’s connection with Russia that the FBI used as an excuse to justify spying on Trump’s campaign. In the years since, however, Special Counsel John Durham’s probe has uncovered multiple avenues that Hillary Clinton’s campaign used to spy on Trump both before and after he entered office in an attempt to pin him on Russia Collusion.

A Friday filing from Durham alleges that the Clinton campaign hired a tech firm run by one Rodney Joffe to “infiltrate” private servers that were kept at Trump Tower and later at the White House. The goal of the infiltration was to dig up any information that might assist in linking the Trump campaign to the Kremlin, a task a two-year investigation from Special Counsel Robert Mueller would ultimately fail to do.
Durham’s report states that information from the server would be used “to establish ‘an inference’ and ‘narrative’ tying then-candidate Trump to Russia.”

Hillary did not spy on Trump.
If most of the media doesn’t report the spying, it means that it never happened. Google won’t include it as spying and Twitter and Facebood won’t allow postings on it, and the printed liberal media won’t report it.
So, it never happened, except in the minds of the right-wing media and in the Durham indictments.

Durham explains that at Sussman's trial, the government will prove how Joffe was able to able to see what websites were being viewed on computers at Trump Tower, Trump's Central Park West apartment and at the White House.
Durham notes that Joffe's position as a 'Tech Executive' saw him entrusted to maintain dedicated servers for the White House and president's office.
'Tech Executive-1 and his associates exploited this arrangement by mining the Executive Office of the President's DNS traffic and other data for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump,' Durham states.
Joffe is not accused of any wrongdoing and had simply 'retained Sussman as his lawyer'.
Neither Neustar nor UltraDNS are named in the filings or explicitly linked to 'Internet-company-1.'

"Infiltrate" usually means "hacking into". But gathering DNS records doesn't necessarily involve the Trump servers. It's possible to do it without "hacking" anything. Basically companies like Neustar, mentioned in that article, provide a "public service" like this: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/23738871.2020.1722191 that just so happens to allow then to spy on people.
It's no different from Google's business model. If you say google "infiltrated" your computer by recording all your searches, most people would not consider that the proper use of the word. But some would. A generous definition could include any form of spying.
Gotta be some honest FBI/DOJ people who will go to bat for America!
