Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Monday rebuffed concerns that have risen in recent weeks over former President Trump's handling of his administration's records, saying he doesn't know "what's true and what's not."
Last month, the National Archives and Records Administration recovered 15 boxes of White House documents from Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. It was later reported that classified documents had been discovered among the boxes.

So Rubio brushes aside an attempt by the media to get him to attack Trump and stir up trouble, and now that’s supposed to upset us?

Rubio was “all in” during the “Russia Russia” Canard, he was on the Senate Committee that looked into Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election. He was part of that scam.
However, in this article Rubio is saying the media lies about Trump and he doesn’t see any thing criminal with Presidential records.
Why are posters mad at Rubio on this specific issue?
Should he be bashing Trump like a democrat or a never Trump republican instead of defending him?
I have not heard anywhere who reported that these boxes of records were at Mar-a-lago to the archive.
That would be interesting to know.

Isn’t it true that all/any emails or documents to/from POTUS ARE AUTOMATICALLY at a CLASSIFIED level? If that is true then this is a total BS story. A letter from a foreign leader about a gift would be “classified”.
Am I missing something? The President of the United States has the legal and constitutional right to DECLASSIFY ANY DOCUMENT. There fore any documents removed by the President from the White House to his personal residence must by default be DECLASSIFIED! Regardless of how they are marked. His treatment of them as declassified documents makes them so. Right?
