Big test for Canada. How much coercion and silencing of legitimate protests are they willing to accept?

We will soon see what democracy means to the country.

With a Dem admin it could be coming to us - if and when it should decide there is a national security and we all need to hand over the personal weapons we are "listed" as buying.

This, as Rush used to say, is a teachable moment. In Canada, most of the members of Parliament come from the cities of Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Ottawa. As such, the vast country skews decidedly toward the urban left characterized by those four cities. Trudeau is in power. He thinks he has his finger on the pulse of the country. In reality, he is ignorant of the concerns of what we would call 'flyover' country. He is, in many ways, a boy in a bubble.

The teachable moment? This would be the U.S. without the Senate and the Electoral College to balance the whims of the large urban areas of this country.
